Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use Pawdiary: groomers and their staff in the app, and pet owners on booking pages, report cards, the client portal and terms-signing links. This statement covers pawdiary.co.uk and app.pawdiary.co.uk.
How accessible it is
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Pages work with a keyboard, show where the focus is, and can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.
- Text and controls meet AA colour contrast, and pages respect your device's "reduce motion" setting.
- Forms have labels, errors are announced to screen readers, and pages use headings and landmarks so you can move around them quickly.
- We check the public pages with automated tools (axe) when they change.
What we know isn't perfect yet
- The route map for mobile groomers is a visual map. The same visits, times and directions are listed in text beside it.
- Some charts in Reports are visual. Their figures are also shown as numbers.
- Photos groomers upload don't have descriptions written by the groomer.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email hello@pawdiary.co.uk. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We'll reply within 5 working days. If you're a pet owner, you can also contact your groomer directly.
Enforcement
If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
